The bar area offers a bit of character, being lively yet casual. It was a decent spot to unwind after a day of exploring, with a variety of drinks on tap.
The facilities lacked maintenance, with peeling paint and broken furniture noticeable throughout. My room had issues like a malfunctioning bathroom door and creaky floorboards. The breakfast felt overly processed, and I noticed a persistent smell wafting from the kitchen below that filled the room. Plus, the parking was awkwardly laid out, making it a bit of a trek just to get inside the hotel. Not the picturesque setting I hoped for, being somewhat tucked away behind residential areas.

Solo traveler with mountain views!
So I stayed in this single room with a mountain view. The bedding was absolutely spotless and the shower worked perfectly with hot water, which was a relief after a long day.
It wasn’t exactly bargain-basement pricing, but you know what? It was still acceptable.

Better accessibility options for seniors would be helpful.

A warm welcome set the tone for a comfortable stay. The room was spacious and clean, providing lovely mountain views. Fresh cream cakes were a delightful addition to the breakfast menu, expertly catered to vegetarian needs. noise from the bar during the evening disrupted peace, and the overall decor felt outdated. Some aspects, like sanitation, could use improvement.

Had a lovely soak in the bath after a long day out, and the breakfast spread was quite nice. The garden area was great for unwinding, and I really enjoyed the cozy bar vibe too. The milk for the cereal was in a metal bottle, which felt a bit off, but overall it was a pleasant stay! 😊

This hotel was an excellent fit for a mini-break over the weekend in Bangor (Gwynedd) with fantastic value. The in-room facilities could use improvement. only disposable cups were provided, which felt cheap. Make sure to check the water pressure in the shower, as it lacked power on the second floor.
